What is the objective of a Resume?
  • a brief introduction of  your credentials and an opportunity to promote yourself as the best candidate suitable for the vacancy.
  • to arose the interest of HR personnel or potential employer to grant you an interview.

What to Include?
  • basic personal particulars (name, identity nationality, correspondence address, contact telephones etc).  
  • current and past working experience (period, employer, job designation/duties and achievements).
  • summary history of educational background (period, institutions/schools attended, certificates obtained)
  • professional qualification and special skills.
  • other information that are relevant to the application.

Watch Out!
  • check for 100% accuracy - no spelling or grammatical errors.
  • avoid too many colours and casual fonts - the resume must appeared professional and formal.
  • present your resume in a easy to read, clear and concise format.
  • ensure that your soft-copy (email to potential employer) is virus free and readable. 
  • do not over sell or lie - you need to be able to justify what you had written in your resume.
